Lost City finds inspiration in so many things; objects, history, culture, music, art, people and so much more.
One of our obsessions and major influences is Karin Dreijer Andersson, a.k.a FEVER RAY. This Swedish hybrid was one half of the immensely successful band The Knife, along side her brother Olof.
After a successful career and three international top selling albums Karin decided to work on a project of her own. She let all her creativity and talent loose and Fever Ray was born.
Fever Ray says what inspire her songs comes from her subconscious. " A lot of it is like daydreaming, dreaming when you’re awake, but tired; a lot of stories come from that world. "

We love her talent, darkness, passion and most of all her eye for what's esthetically pleasing. Lost city would love to shower her in our scarves and we have to admit that it's our wet dream to help style her set with our medieval pillows.
